Great Price "Eureka 8802AVZ Capture Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner" for $99.00 Today
I have had this vacuum for at least three months and I love it. I have experienced the cord reel plastic piece breaking when the vac fell over, but other than that, it takes care of my brand new carpet very well. The duster is not as great as I thought, but it really beats just pushing dust around. The filters must be cleaned thoroughly and replaced as stated on device to ensure proper operation. My recent last roomate has 4 cats and has had this vac for nearly a year now. That sold me on it, especially since I got mine for HALF of what he paid! I was lucky, I guess, because I got mine for at BIG LOTS - refurbished! I love refurbs because they have been TESTED. Most retail items are inspected according to an inspection plan that will require a small percentage of items out of possibly thousands of items to be checked, and if no bad items are found during inspection, then all items are considered to be ok. When a QC person passes junk items, they create a reason for a company to refurbish items to get SOMETHING out of their supposed trash. Most things you buy have not been tested if they are mass produced. This means savings as well as higher quality products when you get refurbished products. How this isn't well known, I do not know. I guess most people are not smart enough to figure this out. So many people shun refurbished or "open" items. I'll just let them pay full price for their products so I can save!

The worst EVER!! Please don't buy. - L. Parker - Killeen Texas
I bought this Vaccum in August and after about the 5th use it started making this really loud noise. It started becoming heavier and heavier after each use. Come to find out.....the hose was clogged. I had to take it apart and the screws didnt go back in preoperly. The screws are in the worst location and u need about 2 different size screw drivers to take them out. This is the worst vac I have ver had in my life. I purchased it b/c it was cute. DONT DO IT!!! The vac now is blowing out dust, the bottom piece broke off and Eureka wont do a D**M thing! What a waste of mula. Now, I have to go out and BUY another one and guess what........it wont be Eureka.

Great when it works, which isn't often. I have had to take this bloody thing apart at least once a week and unclog it. Usually two. Twice the grey filter (just above the cannister) broke and I had to order a new one. The cord storage bracket broke off. Tried to glue it, but it wouldn't hold. Would have had to replace the whole back end at considerable cost, not to mention having to take it apart.The adjustment bracket, for various settings, broke. Various maladies have necessitated having to take it completely apart. Customer service sympathized and suggested I buy a newer model. I can only say: If you love watching things break and love taking things apart, this is the vacuum for you.
