Electrolux Versatility Upright

Great Price "Electrolux Versatility Upright" for $260.83 Today

There's just something about vacuuming. It is so instantly gratifying. Needless to say, I'm all about a new vacuum. The upright Versatility by Electrolux is a heavy duty vacuum packaged in sleek European design sensibility. The rubberized on/off switch allows for easy transfer between carpet and hard flooring. The 12 Amp motor coupled with bag less cyclonic technology pulls at even the most stubborn dirt while the anti-odor HEPA filter keeps it from being recirculated (unlike the old canister vacuums of yore). Converting the upright to wand use is as simply as the pull of a latch which separates the wand from the base. The sturdy metal wand extends up to 14 feet via cleverly integrated extension pieces. A small dusting brush is smartly attached to the wand itself and the narrow width crevice tool can be outfitted at the end. Electrolux's "@hand Turbo" rotating brush tool is surprisingly powerful and just as easy to affix and remove. Emptying the canister is a push button operation and the filter removes for quick cleaning. The Versatility is a tough product dressed in a pretty package.

TRIED HARD TO LOVE IT! - Lynn S. Wilburn - alabama
My husband bought this for me and I must say I was excited as it picks up so much more dirt than my other vacuum. I initially noticed it was quite heavy not so much to push, but just to hold in vacuuming position. Pros: Definately picks up the dirt and easy to empty. I don't smell the pet dander like I do with other machines and really believe this Hepa filter must do quite a bit cause in my old vacuums I couldn't stand to smell the dog and dirt smell left in the bags each time I vacuumed. Also has a separate feature for use on hardwoods and runs very quiet. Cons: Weight, the wheels are too tall and side of machine too large to fit under most cabinets, beds, etc. You'll end up banging up furniture and cabinets trying to get as close as possible to get the edges. I like the idea of just pulling out the handle for use of attachments but the hose and/or extension poles are not quite long enough to reach much and are not the easiest to use, feels like the machine will tip over if you pull too much on the hose. Needs to be much longer extension. Suction appears to be a little weaker when using attachments. The little round attached brush is a bit small in dimension and doesn't appear to be all that well made, but many of them are not anymore. I used it approx 3 different days and really tried to try out all features. The wheels are making a little rubbing sound after this short use, the cannister already has a scrape on it as the silver colored paint is not very durable. Overall I loved the pick up and think it really is a good cleaning vacuumn but believe that it could use some work on ease of use being weight, wheel size and more length for use of attachments.
